How to present your scientific work – seminar about social media and science communication

The seminar involves Katrin Tiidenberg’s presentation, feedback for personal preliminary homework and interactive discussion, in which participants can experiment with different forms of self-presentation and communication of research results, get feedback on it and gather inspiration to involve (social) media in their work.

Prerequisite for participation is the completion of the preliminary homework (social media based self-presentation, press release, video theses, 1-minute lecture, soundbite).

Time schedule:

The seminar will be held in Estonian.

Katrin Tiidenberg, PhD is Associate Professor of Social Media and Visual Culture at the Baltic Film, Media, Arts and Communication School, Tallinn University, Estonia. She is founding member, and member of the Exec of the Estonian Young Academy of Science. Member of the Executive Board (Secretary) of the International Association of Internet Researchers.

Seminar is free of charge for participants and will be funded by European Regional Development Fund through Mobilitas Pluss program and Research in Estonia activities.
