Since 2019, Research in Estonia has offered researchers the opportunity to distribute science-related press releases free of charge through the EurekAlert platform via its website, helping Estonian research reach a broader international media audience.
We invite communication and marketing professionals from research institutions and institutions that have joined the Estonian Code of Conduct for Research Integrity to attend a EurekAlert seminar on May 14 from 10:00 to 11:30 at Park Inn by Radisson Central Tallinn (Narva mnt 7c), room Studio 1.
Sandra Saar, a science journalist at Novaator and an experienced EurekAlert user, will share why using EurekAlert is worthwhile, how to submit press releases to the platform, and offer practical tips for catching journalists’ attention to ensure the widest possible coverage. During the training, participants will gain insights into best practices and have the opportunity to sharpen their understanding of how science journalism works through hands-on exercises.
